Money can be made. Time however, once you’ve spent it, it’s gone forever.”

I stole the above and reworded it slightly. It's from an interview on a podcast I listened to. It really refers to life and how we approach it. Do you use up your day casually (the average American watches 4-6 hours of TV per day!), or do you invest your time in activities that will enrich your life? It could be spending time with family, or pursuing 'learning' that will expand your financial opportunities.

I've set a time limit of three years. Actually 35 and 1/2 months until my son is 18 and graduated from high school. My daughter will be 22 and.....who knows, long gone from college and living life. My 'obligation' to
provide for them will be somewhat complete. I will have 'spent' 22 years...time well spent, I'd die for them if necessary, BUT I'll need to have a change in my life.
